On Monday September 30th, 2019 the FountainHead RI Community kicked off their second panel event of the 2019 year. The panel event entitled: “Leadership & Culture in the Workplace” was clearly of immense interest given the standing room only audience who came out from across the state to listen and interact with our esteemed panelists and moderator.
We learned a substantial amount from the broad experiences shared on the topic and came away better understanding the importance of safeguarding diversity and inclusion in the workplace which undoubtedly leads to improved employee engagement, talent retention and enhanced image of the business among other items.
The panel also went in depth on workplace leadership topics as they relate to different generations making it clear that intellectual curiosity, persistence and confidence are vital to attain the level of learning required to adapt to drastically changing work environments. Being able to reinvent ourselves is paramount given careers today no longer travel along a smooth and carefully planned trajectory.
