Thousands show up to walk at Goddard Memorial State Park in East Greenwich, RI.
On Sunday, April 30th the FountainHead RI team had the privilege of walking in the 2017 Autism Project of Rhode Island’s Imagine Walk at Goddard Memorial State Park. This was one of the first major initiatives that the FountainHead RI community got engaged in and definitely had a remarkable showing. As a team we have currently raised almost $4,000.00 for children, teens, and young adults with autism and their families. This is an incredible testament to the energy of this organization and our team members’ passion for making a difference.
Joanne Quinn, Executive Director of The Autism Project, sent this thank you to Events Committee Co-Chair Erica Busillo Adams: “It is inspiring to see how quickly FountainHead RI was able to mobilize support and funds for this year’s Imagine Walk. You are a new organization and yet you were able to quickly rise to our top 10 fundraising teams, placing 6th overall. I believe this speaks to the power of the millennial generation – especially here in Rhode Island – and to FountainHead RI’s true commitment to giving back to the community. Thank you all so much for making a tremendous difference for our children and families living with autism!”
